TimeSwan™ exists to help people reflect on their lives and preserve their legacies for future generations. The name derives from the phrase "Timeless Swan Song". Our goal is to help people create testaments to their life that will stand the test of time. We are not profit motivated and do not currently charge for any services.

Our company has always been people oriented and not profit oriented. We do not turn a profit on the services that we offer. Our goal is to instead introduce people looking to engage in creating permanent legacies with the tools and people capable of helping them do it. TimeSwan is entirely funded by its two founders; we do not charge for any services and are not compensated by the partners we refer.

We take your privacy very seriously, and promise that any information you entrust with us is treated with the utmost confidentiality. We do not sell any data to third parties, and will not do so at any point in the future.

We were founded to bring the opportunity to have a swan song to all people from all walks of life. Our mission is to make the tools of guided journaling and memoir writing affordable and accessible to everybody. We want to help make all the existing tools out there available to you.
Our Story
The original spark for TimeSwan came in 2016 when Cris was fighting cancer at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. As he walked around Mayo Clinic’s campus he thought about his story and the people around him. The nurse rushing to help a patient, the janitor smiling to help a sick woman find her way, a sick daughter crying on her mother’s shoulder. What would happen to their stories when they reached the end? They certainly won’t get statues or have buildings named after them, but their stories are unique and beautiful. Stories their family and friends will cherish. That is our main goal with TimeSwan; help people record their stories for the people that love them.
TimeSwan’s co-founders are Cris Arens and his son Max Ibata-Arens. They both have other careers and at this stage TimeSwan™ is a part-time venture created out of a desire to do good in the world.
